Stacking signal tower gives flexible assembly

Signal towers feature a twist and lock assembly system that is quick and easy to use - a maximum of seven components will build signal towers from one to five colours, with or without alarm.

The new Patlite LU5 signal towers available from Lenze feature a twist and lock assembly system that is quick and easy to use. The LU5 is a 50mm diameter tower, a smaller version of the existing LU7 70mm model. The modular assembly method means that a maximum of seven components are required to build signal towers from 1 to 5 colours, with or without alarm.

This makes for easier ordering, reduced stockholding and better availability.

Up to five lens modules in colours red, yellow, green, blue and white can be fixed to a base unit in any sequence.

There are no bolts.

The lens elements are simply located into position, then twisted by hand to lock.

It is very easy to dismantle the tower and rebuild in a different sequence, a process only taking a few seconds - the wiring connections to the base unit do not change.

Each lens module utilises LED's for extra brightness and long life.

Connection between the modules are made by Patlite's unique contact design, improved for reliability.

Colour coded connections in the base unit correspond to lens colour and use easy-to-use push fit terminals.

Low power consumption, typically under 52mA, is another advantage LED technology.

Options include mounting poles, brackets, base modules with an 85dB buzzer alarm with two selectable tones.

These signal towers are CE/UL compliant, have a lead free construction and are IP65 rated.
