Remote CANopen and DeviceNet I/Os are economical

Cost-effective Remote I/Os for CANopen and DeviceNet fieldbus systems are equipped with 16 digital inputs and outputs and provide quick removal without the need to disconnect the wiring.
The new Inline Block IO modules from Phoenix Contact are now available for the canopen and devicenet fieldbus systems. These compact modules with integrated fieldbus interfaces are equipped with both 16 digital inputs and outputs, additional modules are available for Interbus and Profibus fieldbus systems for a range of different specifications. The pluggable connectors provide quick removal without the need to disconnect the wiring during installation and maintenance.

The sensors and actuators are connected using two and three-wire terminations eliminating the need for additional terminal levels.

The termination colour coding system aids identification during installation, commissioning and maintenance and the station has been designed to reduce potential wiring errors.

With a flat design and a height of just 55mm, the modules are ideal for use in small terminal boxes where installation space is at a premium.

Phoenix Contact is one of the world leaders in developing and manufacturing connectivity solutions and automation components.

Its principal product ranges include: printed circuit board connectors; modular terminal blocks; fieldbus components; surge voltage protection systems; industrial plug and socket connectors and interface units.
