Static generator for pinning applications

Meech International announces the launch of the Model 992v2 Static.

Meech International announces the launch of the Model 992v2 Static. This new product incorporates the latest technological advances to generate a controlled level of static charge that will create a temporary bond between materials, one of which must be insulative Designed with a variable output range from 0 - 30kV, the Model 992v2 is ideal for use in a wide variety of applications throughout industry. The Model 992v2 is easy to set up and use.

The large digital display clearly shows the output voltage and its unique design means the Model 992v2 can be mounted vertically on a wall or machine frame, or horizontally on a floor or bench for total flexibility.

Incorporated into the Model 992v2 is the facility to switch the unit on and off remotely, this is particularly useful in a factory environment and means the unit can be controlled in association with machine operation.

For additional safety, an auto trip function has been built into the unit.

On detection of 'flashover', the unit will stop working, so reducing the risk of damage to either the equipment or materials being processed.

For large scale applications, multiple generator bars can be connected via the twin outputs on the front of the machine and with an internal switch mode power supply, the Model 992v2 can accommodate different input voltages and frequencies.

The Model 992v2 is a direct replacement for the existing 20kV Model 992 and should be used in conjunction with the Model 993R spark free generator bars.

Now, together with the 50kV Model 990v2, Meech has the capability to address a wide range of static pinning applications.
